A inteligência artificial e as oportunidades no contexto da educação superior

Resumo

O problema deste ensaio centra-se em abordar a inteligência artificial (IA) e a profunda transformação que ela vem gerando na educação superior. O objetivo é aproximar-se das principais oportunidades da IA ao oferecer novas formas de ensino, aprendizagem e gestão. Do ponto de vista metodológico, este ensaio foi desenvolvido a partir de uma perspectiva teórica qualitativa, de caráter crítico-reflexivo, sustentada em uma revisão bibliográfica documental científica, a qual permitiu avaliar as oportunidades que a IA oferece no contexto da educação superior. Os achados mostraram que as principais oportunidades da IA no contexto da educação superior são a personalização da aprendizagem, o apoio à docência, a automatização de processos, a tutoria inteligente, a avaliação adaptativa e o apoio à pesquisa por meio da análise de grandes volumes de dados. Conclui-se que, para os docentes, a IA representa uma oportunidade de inovação pedagógica, ao facilitar a criação de materiais, o acompanhamento individualizado e o desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico nos estudantes, desde que seja utilizada de forma ética e complementar ao papel humano.
