This paper proposes the implementation, adaptation and monitoring of the Platform software of the Institutional Tutoring Program (PIT) of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS). The main objective is to provide new students with orientation, familiarization and follow-up in their professional career, in order to promote the continuous improvement of the student. Through the control enrollment of the students, a diagnosis was made and instruments were applied to determine the group needs. In addition, the student trajectory program, the tutoring program, the peer advisors and the Student Service Center were used as a support unit, with the aim of obtaining better results by acting preventively. It was sought to reactivate the use of the PIT software, so that students could easily locate the various activities and services offered by the UAS. This contributed to improving student retention and facilitating the development of the necessary skills to have greater chances of success during their academic life. With these actions, it is intended to make the most of the advantages of the PIT platform, providing students with an integral tool for their learning process and personal development.
